Pt England is a bustling community with many people living in a small area. Most of the Students at Pt England school walk to and fro every day through the traffic. Road Safety is very important for everyone to think about while they are out and about here in this little part of Auckland.

Our Trip to Youth Town
Room 8 went on the bus to Youth Town to practise using "The Pt. England Way". Listen to Marama's recount of the great time she had there and all the fun things she did.
Marama I like the way that you spoke! You spoke clearly and didn't make ANY mistakes! I also liked the way that just after you had finished you smiled, I think that you must have know how happy you were to have finished and done such a good job! I think you spoke clearly and loudly! Like a Lion! Mr Webb and Room 8, Melville Intermediate, Hamilton.
2013 is a big year at Pt England. We have more students than ever before - more than 630! Nearly all of our students walk to school and home every day along some of the busiest roads in Auckland. Because of the traffic and all the driveways along the way we are always working on SAFE WALKING.
Hi Marama,
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you enjoyed your visit to Youth Town. Did you bring your paintings and drawings back to school for us to see? I hope so.
Love from Mrs Jarman
Marama
